NEW DELHI: Zaheer Khan is set to announce his retirement from international cricket today, Indian Premier League chairman Rajeev Shukla tweeted on Thursday.

The left-arm medium-pacer has been on the sidelines on account of drop in form and persistent injuries, having last played for India in February 2014 against New Zealand in Wellington.

On Thursday morning, Rajeev Shukla posted on his Twitter account that Zaheer will call time on his career and hoped he continues to play in IPL.
